Dave's Funeral

Saturday here I attended my friend Dave Wittry's funeral at a small church in Tien Mu in the northern reaches of Taipei. Some beautiful things were said, a slide show of images of Dave played on a screen in the corner of the church. I met Dave's wife Jody and children Kaylin and Darren. Dave's brothers, really nice guys, flew over from the states to be there. The blog Dave kept that led me into the local cycling community has been updated with a photo of Dave from a race. A group of some of the Dave's friends have set up a bank account for the kids to help build a college fund, I'll donate what I can.
